Amazing BBQ Sauce that is Clean, Paleo and Whole30

Units Scale
  • 1 cup water
  • Sweetener (6 dates pitted and softened, 2 tablespoons or honey)*see note
  • 1/2 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Onion
  • 5 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut Amino or Worcestershire Sauce (**see note)
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dry Mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper


  1. Heat 1 cup of Water in until lightly boiling and add Dates and allow to sit for 5 minutes
  2. Remove the dates from the water, remove the pits and chop the dates
  3. Add the chopped dates and remaining ingredients to a blender and blend until liquified, about a minute
  4. Store in a sealed container in the refridgerator
  5. ENJOY


*If you are using a sweetener besides Dates or Honey then sweeten to taste adding a little bit of your favorite sweetener at a time till the desired sweetness is reached

**Make sure Worcestershire is compliant. (New Primal Steak Sauce) or use Coconut Amino
