Perfectly Marinated Chicken. This delicious marinade combines Olive Oil, Coconut Amino, Worcestershire Sauce, Garlic, Basil, Dijon mustard, and the perfect seasoning blend. Want to make it Whole30, Paleo, or Keto Compliant? Use Primal Kitchen Steak Sauce! You can marinate the Chicken for 30 minutes or two days. The longer it marinades, the more amazing it will taste! Not only does the marinate taste fantastic with Chicken but with Pork and Steak!
Another excellent idea someone gave me a few years ago was to freeze your Chicken with the marinade. That way, as it defrosts, it marinades. It is great when you are short on time and want to pull something out of the freezer. You can make up multiple freezer packs of marinated Chicken to ensure you always have wonderfully perfect marinated Chicken.
How to make Perfectly Marinated Chicken:
Add all the ingredients minus the Chicken into a bowl, jar, or measuring cup and stir/shake till combined. Cover the Chicken, seal, and refrigerate to marinade for 30 minutes to 2 days. The longer you allow it to marinade, the better the flavor of the Chicken. Once marinated, you can cook it on the stovetop, in the Oven, or on the Grill. Remember when cooking that the Coconut Amino can burn quickly. While there isn’t much of an impact on the Grill or the Oven, it can cause the juices in your pan to burn. You want to cook your Chicken on something other than burnt juices!
I usually sear each side for about two minutes when cooking on the stovetop. Cover, reduce the heat to low, and allow it to do its thing. Ensure the bottom remains wet to prevent the coconut amino from burning. I usually keep a glass of water handy and pour on a bit of water when it is dry.
You can also bake it in the Oven for about 30 minutes until the Chicken’s internal temperature is 165°F. I prefer to cook it on the Grill when I can; grilling allows the outside to get perfectly crispy while the Chicken remains juicy! Every Grill is different, but I cook mine for about 25 minutes at 350°F (medium-low).
I love making a protein that I can use for multiple meals! It is great alone, on a salad, in a chicken salad, or on a sandwich! Looking for a great side dish to go with this fantastic Chicken?
